the productive chair

I love a good desk chair. This A Rudin chair is "a" winner. It may even make your desk more desirable to work at (hopefully). If not, at least you have a stylish parking spot.

wood and lovely

This jay griffith designed kitchen is a great example of using wood on almost every surface. It's simplistic design showcases the natural material at it's finest.

crisp, clean white

what can I say....who doesn't love the way a white bathroom makes you feel (if it's clean). So alive! Just because it's a white bathroom, it doesn't have to be boring. Add textured tiles, marble countertops, fluffy white towels and always have fresh flowers. Who would of thought heaven was two doors down the hallway.

the monogrammed knob

What a great way to add personalized detail to any piece of furniture. This monogrammed beauty is from the nanz company , it's neo-classical design will tempt you to put it anywhere that requires a knob.

lucky little girl

haute design : Adorable! what little girl wouldn't love to have a fancy bed. These nurseryworks head boards come in twin and full sizes. You can choose your own fabric as well. Have your princess dream in style.

being green everyday

In honor of St. Patrick I attempted to find inspiration in green. The green I found is the green we (as well as our homes) should be wearing daily. This "slate-ish paper tile" from straw sticks & bricks is such a great product. It's made from post industrial recycled FSC certified paper material and it looks like the real thing. Green is good, but not in your beer.

the boudoir chair

haute design : It doesn't matter how many times I come across this sweet boudoir chair, it always speaks to me. I love Barbara Barry's interpretation of transitional design. This piece says it all. I would pair this with any style vanity due to it's simplistic greatness.

my new great

So I was performing my daily ritual of scooting around in the blog world and came across this designer on cococozy. Her name is palmer weiss and she is insane....insanely fabulous. I always love to see what other designers are up to and she is on top. I love her bold use of color, mix of pattern, and her wide array of furniture styles. Oh so inspiring!

yellow layer cake

haute design : Really...can you design a more fabulous etagere, I don't think so. Michael Tavano's rendition of the asian inspired etagere takes the cake! What doesn't say spring than yellow lacquer?

happy jack

A child's room is my absolute favorite room to design. A room where there are no boundaries or judgement. It's purpose is pure......to play, grow, and dream. I watch my young son jack perform his list of duties daily in this room. Just add light, color, and many favorite items to watch your sprout blossom.

the beaded chandelier

square beads, colored beads, wood beads.......look at these. Can you even stand it or in this case hang it. Chandeliers have really made a name for themselves, no longer are they the dust collectors that hung in the formal dining room that was used twice a year. These beaded favorites are welcome in any part of your home not just on fat tuesday, but any day of the week.

king thomas

There is no doubt that Thomas Pheasant is the king of upholstery. I get chills when I look at his collection (I really do). I adore his lines and subtle details. So refreshing and oh so classic.....he is the master at his craft.
